Meet Anthony
Hi, I’m Anthony Robinson, MA, RDN, LDN, founder of Sunshine Supportive Solutions.

Anthony’s story
I bring more than 20 years of nutrition experience and a genuine passion for helping adults improve their health without judgment, extreme diets, or unrealistic expectations.
Throughout my career, I have worked in clinical nutrition, private practice, chronic disease management, and healthcare leadership. I have supported individuals living with diabetes, kidney disease, cardiovascular conditions, digestive concerns, weight-management challenges, and many other health needs. These experiences taught me that effective nutrition care must look beyond a diagnosis or number on a scale and consider the whole person.
My approach is personal, practical, and collaborative. I take time to listen to your concerns, understand your lifestyle, and learn what matters most to you. Together, we will develop realistic strategies that reflect your health needs, food preferences, culture, schedule, budget, and goals.
As a former Certified Personal Trainer, I also understand how nutrition, movement, sleep, stress, and everyday habits work together. My goal is not to overwhelm you with rules. It is to help you understand your body, build confidence in your choices, and make changes you can maintain.
My love of cooking, travel, and different food cultures greatly influences my work. During a six-month journey through Asia and Europe, I gained an even deeper appreciation for diverse cuisines and the many ways nutritious eating can be flavorful, meaningful, and enjoyable.
When you work with me, you receive more than nutrition information. You gain a supportive partner who will provide personalized guidance, useful resources, practical tools, and consistent encouragement. I am with you every step of the way.
Education & professional experience
My education and professional experience allow me to combine nutrition science with practical, compassionate support. Throughout my career, I have worked directly with clients, collaborated with healthcare teams, led nutrition professionals, and helped improve the quality of care provided across healthcare settings.

My experience includes clinical nutrition, medical nutrition therapy, private practice, chronic disease management, healthcare leadership, quality improvement, staff education, and collaboration with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
I have supported adults with kidney disease, diabetes, prediabetes, cardiovascular conditions, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, digestive concerns, weight-management needs, and many other health challenges.
My background helps me understand both the science of nutrition and the real-life challenges involved in making lasting changes. I use that experience to provide thoughtful recommendations, explain nutrition in an understandable way, and create a personalized plan that works in your everyday life.
My approach to nutrition
I believe nutrition counseling should be supportive, practical, and centered around you. There is no single “perfect” way to eat, and a plan will only be successful if it works with your health needs, lifestyle, culture, preferences, schedule, and budget.
Before making recommendations, I take time to understand your health history, current habits, concerns, challenges, and personal goals. Your experiences matter, and you will always have a voice in your care.
Nutrition information can be confusing and overwhelming. I will help you understand the science and turn it into clear, manageable steps that you can confidently use in your everyday life.
Healthy change does not require perfection. We will focus on realistic improvements, celebrate your progress, learn from challenges, and adjust your plan whenever needed.
I do not believe healthy eating should mean giving up the foods, flavors, traditions, and experiences you enjoy. Together, we will find a balance that supports your health while allowing food to remain satisfying and meaningful.
Nutrition is only one part of your well-being. When appropriate, we may also discuss movement, sleep, stress, hydration, cooking, meal planning, and other everyday habits that can support your goals.
Depending on your needs, I may provide personalized meal plans, recipes, shopping lists, educational resources, progress trackers, and other practical tools to help you feel prepared between appointments.
I am not here to lecture you or hand you a generic diet. I am here to work alongside you, answer your questions, help you overcome barriers, and provide consistent encouragement. I am with you every step of the way.
Why I started Sunshine Supportive Solutions
Throughout my career, I have seen how difficult it can be for people to receive the personalized nutrition support they truly need. Appointments can feel rushed, recommendations may be too general, and many people leave knowing what they are “supposed” to do—but without the tools or ongoing guidance needed to make it happen.
I created Sunshine Supportive Solutions to offer something more personal.
My goal is to provide a welcoming space where you have time to share your story, ask questions, and receive nutrition guidance designed specifically for your life. I want you to understand not only what changes may support your health, but also how to put those changes into practice.
Making lasting changes takes time. That is why my support does not have to end when your appointment is over. Through consistent communication, personalized resources, meal-planning assistance, recipes, shopping lists, and ongoing encouragement, I help you continue moving forward between sessions.
Your nutrition plan should reflect your health needs, preferences, culture, schedule, cooking abilities, and budget. We will work together to create realistic solutions that feel manageable—not overwhelming.
Sunshine Supportive Solutions represents the kind of care I strive to provide: positive, dependable support and practical solutions that help you feel more confident about your health.
Service that shines. Solutions that support.

A little more about me
Nutrition is my profession, but food is also one of the ways I connect with people, cultures, and the world around me. I genuinely enjoy cooking, experimenting with new ingredients, discovering creative ways to prepare nutritious meals, and showing others that healthier food can still be full of flavor.
Travel has also played an important role in shaping my perspective. During a six-month journey through Asia and Europe, I experienced many different cuisines, food traditions, and approaches to health. Those experiences strengthened my appreciation for cultural diversity and reminded me that nutritious eating does not look the same for everyone.
I bring that open-minded perspective into every appointment. I want to learn about the foods you enjoy, the traditions that matter to you, and the realities of your everyday life. I will never expect you to eat perfectly or give up everything you love.
Outside of nutrition, I enjoy traveling, cooking, exploring the outdoors, working on creative projects, and continuing to learn new things. I believe curiosity, flexibility, and a willingness to try something new can make both life and healthy living more enjoyable.
My clients are never just appointments on a calendar. I value the relationships we build, the progress we celebrate, and the opportunity to support each person through the challenges and successes of their health journey.
Ready to feel supported?
You do not have to navigate confusing nutrition advice or make lasting changes on your own. Whether you are managing a medical condition, working toward a personal health goal, or simply looking for a more balanced way of eating, I am ready to help.
Our work together will be personalized, practical, and centered around your needs. You will receive clear guidance, useful tools, consistent encouragement, and a supportive space where you can ask questions and move forward without judgment.
You do not need to be perfect or have everything figured out before your first appointment. You only need to be ready to take the next step. We will build from there—together.
