Personalized nutrition services

Expert guidance designed around your health, needs, and everyday life.

Nutrition is personal. Your health history, food preferences, culture, schedule, budget, cooking skills, and goals are unique—and your nutrition care should be too.

I provide individualized virtual nutrition counseling and medical nutrition therapy for adults who want practical guidance, reliable information, and ongoing support. Whether you are managing a chronic health condition, taking a GLP-1 medication, working toward a healthier weight, or simply trying to improve your eating habits, we will build an approach that works for you.

During our appointments, I will take time to listen, answer your questions, and help you understand how nutrition relates to your health. Together, we will turn that knowledge into realistic steps you can use in your daily life.

Depending on your needs, your care may include personalized nutrition recommendations, meal-planning guidance, recipes, shopping lists, educational resources, healthy cooking support, progress tracking, and communication between sessions.

You will never receive a generic diet or be expected to change everything at once. We will focus on manageable steps, meaningful progress, and solutions you can maintain.

01

Weight Management

A realistic, supportive approach built for lasting change

Weight management is about much more than following a diet or watching the number on the scale. Your health history, medications, metabolism, lifestyle, sleep, stress, eating patterns, environment, and relationship with food can all influence your progress.

I provide personalized weight-management counseling without judgment, shame, extreme restrictions, or unrealistic expectations. Together, we will identify the habits and challenges affecting your progress and create practical strategies that fit your everyday life.

Your support may include:

  • Developing balanced and satisfying meals
  • Managing hunger, cravings, and emotional eating
  • Improving portion awareness without excessive restriction
  • Increasing protein, fiber, and nutrient-dense foods
  • Planning meals around your schedule and budget
  • Making healthier restaurant and convenience-food choices
  • Building confidence with grocery shopping and cooking
  • Supporting hydration, movement, sleep, and other healthy habits
  • Tracking progress beyond the number on the scale
  • Creating strategies for maintaining your progress long-term

Focusing on progress—not perfection

You will not be expected to change everything at once. We will focus on manageable goals, recognize your successes, learn from challenges, and adjust your plan as your needs change.

Success can look different for everyone

Progress may include improvements in energy, strength, mobility, blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol, eating habits, confidence, or overall well-being. We will identify the measures that are most meaningful for your health and personal goals.

GLP-1 Nutrition Support

Helping you feel your best while building habits that last

GLP-1 medications can be helpful tools for weight management and blood-sugar control, but eating enough of the right foods may become challenging when your appetite changes. Nausea, constipation, diarrhea, reflux, fatigue, food aversions, or feeling full quickly can also affect your nutrition and daily life.

I provide personalized nutrition support to help you meet your needs, manage common nutrition-related challenges, and make the most of your treatment—without following an overly restrictive diet.

Your support may include:

  • Meeting your protein and nutrient needs with a reduced appetite
  • Planning smaller, balanced meals that feel comfortable and satisfying
  • Managing nausea, constipation, diarrhea, reflux, and early fullness
  • Supporting hydration and electrolyte needs
  • Choosing foods that are easier to tolerate when symptoms occur
  • Increasing fiber gradually and appropriately
  • Preserving muscle mass through adequate nutrition and movement
  • Creating meal plans, recipes, and shopping lists based on your needs
  • Managing eating patterns as your appetite and medication dose change
  • Building sustainable habits that support your long-term health

More than eating less

GLP-1 medications may reduce hunger, but good nutrition still matters. Eating too little or missing important nutrients can contribute to fatigue, weakness, muscle loss, constipation, and difficulty maintaining healthy habits. We will focus on nourishing your body while respecting changes in your appetite and comfort.

Personalized to your experience

Everyone responds differently to GLP-1 therapy. Your nutrition plan will reflect your medication experience, health conditions, symptoms, food preferences, culture, schedule, budget, and personal goals. We will monitor how you are feeling and adjust your strategies as your needs change.

Support that extends beyond medication

My goal is to help you develop skills and habits that support your health during treatment and beyond. You will gain practical tools for balanced eating, meal planning, cooking, grocery shopping, hydration, movement, and maintaining your progress over time.

Nutrition counseling supports—but does not replace—care from your prescribing healthcare professional. Medication questions, dosage changes, and significant or persistent side effects should be discussed with your prescriber.

Diabetes & Prediabetes Support

Practical nutrition guidance for steadier blood sugar and better health

Managing diabetes or prediabetes can feel overwhelming, especially when you are trying to understand carbohydrates, food labels, blood-sugar readings, medications, and conflicting nutrition advice. You do not have to navigate it alone.

I provide personalized nutrition counseling for adults with prediabetes, Type 1 diabetes, and Type 2 diabetes. Together, we will create realistic strategies that support blood-sugar management while allowing you to enjoy balanced, satisfying meals.

Your support may include:

  • Understanding how food affects your blood sugar
  • Balancing carbohydrates with protein, fiber, and healthy fats
  • Planning consistent, satisfying meals and snacks
  • Understanding portions without eliminating entire food groups
  • Reviewing food labels and identifying added sugars
  • Selecting higher-fiber carbohydrates and whole foods
  • Creating personalized meal plans, recipes, and shopping lists
  • Making informed choices when dining out or ordering takeout
  • Managing hunger, cravings, and emotional eating
  • Supporting healthy blood pressure, cholesterol, and weight goals
  • Recognizing patterns in your eating habits and blood-sugar readings
  • Building sustainable habits that fit your culture, schedule, preferences, and budget

Carbohydrates can still be part of your diet

Having diabetes does not mean you must completely avoid carbohydrates or give up the foods you enjoy. We will focus on carbohydrate quality, portions, meal timing, and balanced food combinations to help support steadier blood sugar.

Personalized to your health

Your nutrition plan will reflect your diagnosis, laboratory results, medications, activity level, health conditions, food preferences, culture, cooking abilities, schedule, and personal goals. If you also have kidney disease, cardiovascular concerns, digestive issues, or other medical needs, these will be considered when developing your recommendations.

Prediabetes is an opportunity to take action

If you have prediabetes, practical changes to your eating patterns, activity, sleep, stress management, and other daily habits may help improve blood-sugar levels and reduce your risk of developing Type 2 diabetes. We will identify realistic changes you can begin making now.

Progress you can see and feel

Depending on your needs, we may monitor blood-sugar patterns, A1C, meal consistency, energy, hydration, fiber intake, physical activity, weight trends, and other meaningful indicators of progress.

Nutrition counseling supports—but does not replace—care from your physician or prescribing healthcare professional. Medication changes and concerns about high or low blood sugar should be discussed with your medical team.

Heart-Health Nutrition Support

Practical changes to support your blood pressure, cholesterol, and overall well-being

Improving your heart health does not require giving up every food you enjoy or completely changing your diet overnight. Small, consistent changes to your eating habits and lifestyle can make a meaningful difference over time.

I provide personalized nutrition counseling for adults managing high blood pressure, high cholesterol, heart disease, and other cardiovascular concerns. Together, we will create realistic strategies that support your health while respecting your preferences, culture, schedule, cooking abilities, and budget.

Your support may include:

  • Developing balanced, heart-healthy meals
  • Reducing sodium without sacrificing flavor
  • Understanding saturated fat, unsaturated fat, and dietary cholesterol
  • Increasing fiber through vegetables, fruits, whole grains, beans, nuts, and seeds
  • Reading food labels and comparing products
  • Choosing healthier options when dining out or ordering takeout
  • Finding practical alternatives to highly processed foods
  • Creating personalized meal plans, recipes, and shopping lists
  • Improving hydration, movement, sleep, and other supportive habits
  • Managing heart health alongside diabetes, kidney disease, or weight concerns

Heart-healthy eating can still be enjoyable

Supporting your heart does not mean eating bland food. We will explore herbs, spices, cooking techniques, and flavorful ingredients that can help you reduce excess sodium and saturated fat while continuing to enjoy satisfying meals.

Personalized to your health

Your recommendations will reflect your medical history, laboratory results, medications, blood-pressure readings, food preferences, lifestyle, and personal goals. If you are also managing diabetes, kidney disease, digestive concerns, or another health condition, your nutrition plan will be adjusted accordingly.

Changes that fit your real life

Rather than trying to change everything at once, we will identify manageable steps that can become part of your everyday routine. Depending on your needs, we may monitor blood pressure, cholesterol levels, sodium and fiber intake, meal patterns, physical activity, weight trends, energy, and other meaningful indicators of progress.

Nutrition counseling supports—but does not replace—care from your physician or healthcare team. Medication changes, chest pain, shortness of breath, or other concerning symptoms should be addressed promptly with an appropriate medical professional.

Kidney-Health Nutrition Support

Individualized guidance based on your kidney function, laboratory results, and overall health

Nutrition recommendations for kidney health can be confusing because your needs may change depending on your diagnosis, kidney function, laboratory results, medications, and other medical conditions. Foods that are appropriate for one person may not be appropriate for another.

I provide personalized nutrition counseling for adults with chronic kidney disease, reduced kidney function, kidney stones, and related health concerns. Together, we will develop practical strategies that support your kidney health while helping you enjoy balanced and satisfying meals.

Your support may include:

  • Understanding how nutrition affects kidney function
  • Managing sodium intake to support blood pressure and fluid balance
  • Identifying an appropriate amount and type of protein for your needs
  • Understanding potassium and phosphorus without avoiding foods unnecessarily
  • Reviewing laboratory results and adjusting food choices accordingly
  • Reading food labels and identifying sodium and phosphorus additives
  • Planning balanced meals that reflect your individual nutrition needs
  • Creating personalized meal plans, recipes, and shopping lists
  • Supporting appropriate hydration based on your medical guidance
  • Making informed choices when dining out or ordering takeout
  • Managing kidney health alongside diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, or weight concerns
  • Developing strategies to help reduce the risk of recurring kidney stones when appropriate

Kidney nutrition is not one-size-fits-all

Not everyone with kidney disease needs to restrict potassium, phosphorus, fluids, or the same amount of protein. Your recommendations will be based on your kidney function, laboratory results, medications, stage of disease, treatment plan, eating habits, and overall health.

Practical changes without unnecessary restrictions

A kidney-friendly eating pattern should support your health without making meals feel overly complicated or restrictive. I will help you understand which changes are most important, find satisfying alternatives, and prepare flavorful meals that fit your preferences, culture, cooking abilities, schedule, and budget.

Support for connected health conditions

Kidney health is closely connected to blood pressure, blood sugar, cardiovascular health, and hydration. If you are managing diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, or another medical condition, we will consider your complete health picture when developing your nutrition plan.

Working with your healthcare team

When appropriate, nutrition recommendations may be coordinated with guidance from your physician, nephrologist, or other healthcare professionals.

Nutrition counseling supports—but does not replace—medical care. Changes involving medications, supplements, fluid restrictions, or treatment should be discussed with your medical team.

Digestive-Health Nutrition Support

Personalized strategies to help you feel more comfortable and confident with food

Digestive symptoms can affect what you eat, how you feel, and your everyday quality of life. Bloating, reflux, constipation, diarrhea, abdominal discomfort, and food intolerances can be frustrating—especially when you receive conflicting advice or feel unsure about which foods to choose.

I provide personalized nutrition counseling for adults managing irritable bowel syndrome, acid reflux, constipation, diarrhea, diverticular disease, food intolerances, and other digestive concerns. Together, we will identify practical strategies that support digestive comfort while helping you maintain balanced and adequate nutrition.

Your support may include:

  • Identifying foods, eating patterns, and lifestyle factors that may influence symptoms
  • Developing balanced meals that feel comfortable and satisfying
  • Increasing or adjusting fiber gradually based on your individual needs
  • Supporting hydration and regular bowel habits
  • Managing reflux through meal timing, portions, and personalized food choices
  • Exploring practical strategies for bloating, constipation, or diarrhea
  • Reviewing possible food intolerances without eliminating foods unnecessarily
  • Using a food-and-symptom journal to recognize meaningful patterns
  • Creating personalized meal plans, recipes, and shopping lists
  • Finding appropriate choices when dining out or traveling
  • Supporting adequate protein, vitamins, minerals, and overall nutrition
  • Managing digestive health alongside diabetes, kidney disease, heart concerns, or other medical needs

Avoiding unnecessary restrictions

Digestive symptoms can sometimes lead people to eliminate many foods without clear benefits. Overly restrictive diets may make it difficult to meet your nutritional needs and can increase stress around eating. We will focus on changes that have a clear purpose, monitor your response, and reintroduce foods when appropriate.

Personalized to your symptoms

There is no single eating plan that works for every digestive condition. Your recommendations will reflect your symptoms, diagnosis, medical history, medications, food preferences, culture, schedule, cooking abilities, budget, and personal goals.

Supporting your relationship with food

My goal is to help you feel more comfortable—not fearful—around food. We will work toward expanding the variety of foods you can enjoy whenever possible while developing realistic strategies for managing symptoms and maintaining balanced nutrition.

Working with your healthcare team

Digestive symptoms may require evaluation and treatment from a physician or gastroenterologist.

Nutrition counseling supports—but does not replace—medical care. New, severe, or persistent symptoms—including blood in the stool, unexplained weight loss, repeated vomiting, difficulty swallowing, or significant abdominal pain—should be discussed promptly with an appropriate healthcare professional.

Cooking that fits your life

Your cooking plan will reflect your experience, available time, kitchen equipment, physical abilities, household needs, food preferences, culture, and budget. We will find solutions that feel manageable and work in your actual kitchen—not just on paper.
